While a chain restaurant, you'd be hard pressed to know or guess that unless you'd been told. It's a warm, comfortable setting accented with hand-painted murals, Ming dynasty style art pieces, and low lighting. It achieves a practically glamorous dining setting, and when not overly crowded, can be downright mysteriously romantic.
High chairs and plastic water cups with straws are available upon request. As elegant as the restaurant appears, it is remarkably famiy friendly.
Located right across from the Boston Common and Public Garden, it's easy to get to by both car and public transportation. Parking can be a hassle during busy times.

We wish there were more locations!!, Sat 1 Jul 2006
Changs is one of our favorite restaurants. It's time they branched out into suburbia! Our favorite dishes include the Oolong Sea Bass (best we've ever had), the shrimp & lobster sauce, Chang's spicy chicken, and the lettuce wraps. We usually go on a Sunday to avoid the crowds, and it's easier to find parking and to bring the kids.
Excellent food, very affordable, Mon 18 Jul 2005
We love the Chang's spicy chicken, the chinese eggplant, and the lettuce wraps. Other good bets are the shumai steamed dumplings, the and the Orange Peel Shrimp. But you really can't go wrong here. They also have water cups for kids and high chiars. We usually go for brunch on Sundays with the kids, it's not too crowded and we can still get the upscale style restaurant even with the kids in tow.
