Others to Consider: Fresh City, Kupels, Darwins Ltd., Martha's Bread Basket, S&S DeliA Manhattan deli it's not, but Rubin's is one of few kosher spots where Bostonians can feed a corned beef craving. What Rubin's lacks in Lower East side authenticity, it makes up for in enthusiasm: Locals slide into red booths for kinishes, pastrami, and, of course, corned beef.
The place is small and makes no pretense at ambiance or decor, which is fine for a deli. They service is good and you can sit for a leisurely meal without feeling rused in the slightest.
They also do a brisk take-out business, so if you live in the area you might want to take advantage of that.
