Bad Customer Service, Horrible Return Policy, Thu 1 Jun 2006
I ordered two items in Mimi Maternity at www.mimimaternity.com. Granted, I bought them on sale, but this is not an excuse to sell bad quality items or give a wrong description. The blouse that I got was 100% rayon, and did not have ties at the back, however, the description stated '100% silk, ties at the back' you can check it out, just go to their site, and first click on special ocasion, then on sale - red silk tunic on the 2nd page. The skirt had threads pulling out, very poor quality. I sent them an e-mail a week ago, so far no response, so I figure the only way to benefit the customer service at that ridiculously hyped store is to give them a fair review online. Also, check out their return policy - you'll be surprized how fast you have to return the stuff. I did not - even though I feel fooled, 100% rayon shirt will do for now, and I guess I'll wear that funky skirt around the house while cleaning. Beware, that's all I can say, I had a better experience with Ebay than Mimi. Not a happy customer.
Worst Retail Experience Ever, Thu 10 Nov 2005
While initially the selection and quality look good, I purchased a jersey for $24 that pilled up and had threads coming out after just a few washings. I also tried to exchange a pair of dress pants that still had the tags on for a bigger size because I had a big sudden weight gain. They refused to return, exchange or credit me because they have a ridiculous unfriendly customer service policy of allowing returns after only 10 days from purchase. BEWARE!
