Westford Education The Westford Public Schools, consisting of 5120 students, has three primary elementary (grades K-2) schools, three upper elementary (grades 3-6) schools, two middle schools, and the high school, Westford Academy. Founded in 1794, Westford Academy opened its doors in September 2000 in a completely renovated and expanded facility. The community strongly supports its schools. Each program provides solid basic instruction supplemented by broad support programs in art, music, physical education, technology, guidance, and academic challenge opportunities.
