_The Bell Center
The Bell Center for Music & the Arts is entering its 10th year as a community school for the arts. The Center began with 80 primarily piano students in 1993 and now has over 600 students from 25 communities.
The Bell Center Players is a non-profit community theater group consisting of both professional and amateur actors, musicians, dancers, and production people. Their mission is to provide high quality dramatic entertainment to families at affordable prices. Past productions have included The Secret Garden, Oliver!, House at Pooh Corner, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Annie, Charlotte’s Web, Wizard of Oz, The Adventures of Doctor Dolittle, and the Pirates of Penzance.
Classes and camps are offered to students of all ages. Classes include Broadway Babies and Broadway Bound (theater classes for children ages 5-12), Creative Drama for children ages 4-7, Kindermusik for babies and children ages 2 months-4 years, Teen Musical Theatre Workshop, and Youth Opera Workshop. Private lessons are also offered in a variety of instruments.
The Bell Center also offers a Flexi-Pass 'for the busy adult who has always wanted to learn an instrument or brush up on an instrument learned as a child.' It is a 6-pack of lessons that can be scheduled at different times, on different days, as your schedule allows.
