WBUR announces CitySpace Summer Camp, a new six-week series providing content to families with children, ages five to 12 years old.
The Summer Camp aims to help families occupy, entertain and involve kids during this unprecedented summer. The virtual programming will launch Monday, July 13 and conclude Monday, August 21.
During each week of camp, the CitySpace team will provide a fun and thought-provoking assignment for families to tackle based on a weekly theme. Families can then submit photos or a video of their completed project for the CitySpace team to include in a montage of entries, posted at each week’s conclusion.
The themes for each week of CitySpace Summer Camp include:
Community Service: “What does community service mean to you?”
Theater: “Lights. Camera. ACTION.”
Dance: “Shake it off!”
Creative Writing: “Everyone has a story. What’s yours?”
Art:” Show us your Picasso!”
Book club: “Bookworms unite!”
