As part of the Discovery Museum's 'Especially for Me' series, Summer Fun Inclusive Evening offers a free, supportive, and accessible environment for families with members who have a disability, including sensory sensitivities, visual impairments, learning differences, physical disabilities, or hearing loss.Attendees can explore all interactive indoor exhibits as well as the ADA-compliant Discovery Woods outdoor nature playscape and Treehouse.
The event features reduced crowd sizes, designated quiet areas, and physical accommodations designed according to Universal Design principles to ensure an enjoyable visit for all.
A free dinner, including gluten-free options, is also served during the event.
