Celebrate late summer on the farm with one of New England's most iconic insects!Join Mass Audubon naturalists at Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary for a family-friendly exploration focused on monarch butterflies and their meadow habitat.
Participants will take a guided walk through Drumlin Farm's vibrant meadows and fields to search for monarchs, caterpillars, and nectar-rich wildflowers.
Learn what makes the ideal monarch habitat, how to plant milkweed to support pollinators at home, and follow along with a story reading about the monarch life cycle.
Children will also create a colorful butterfly craft to take home.
