The Benefit - Coping Kits
Proceeds from the Festival are used by Emerson Hospital’s Pediatric Intervention Team to create and distribute age appropriate kits to all children entering the Hospital.
The kits are used to help both children and parents manage and cope successfully with the hospital experience.
Background/Why:
Verrill Farm was established as a dairy farm in 1918, just seven years after the founding of Emerson Hospital.
With the Harvest Festival, the long time neighbors have established an annual collaboration.
