Join us October 9th, 2021 from 10:00am to 4:00pm for a 80+ art, music, and cultural happenings--all free and all in the Fenway!

Founded in 2001 by Fenway Alliance Executive Director Kelly Brilliant, Opening Our Doors is the largest FREE day of art, culture, and music in Boston.

The mission of the Opening Our Doors Festival is to “open doors” of the cultural, artistic, educational, and historic institutions in the Fenway neighborhood. At its heart, Opening Our Doors is interactive, inclusive, intergenerational, and interdisciplinary.

Enjoy art exhibitions and activities, cultural experiences, musical and dance performances, and more!

The founding mission of the festival is to “open doors” to the heart and soul of cultural Boston.

Interactive, inclusive, and interdisciplinary - Opening Our Doors is family-friendly fun for all ages!

Festival events will be held everywhere from Berklee College of Music, Massachusetts Historical Society, the First Church Plaza, and Mary Baker Eddy Library to institutions down the Huntington Avenue / Avenue of the Arts corridor with programs at Boston Symphony Orchestra, New England Conservatory, YMCA at Huntington Avenue, Museum of Fine Arts, Emerald Necklace Conservancy, SMFA at Tufts, Simmons University, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and Evans Way Park. Opening Our Doors invites the community into the Fenway – the cultural heart and soul of Boston.

Featured performances by: New England Conservatory, Bow Sim Mark Tai Chi Arts Academy, Boston Children’s Chorus, Eon Dance Troupe, Kaliente Dance Troupe, Madrigal Singers at Northeastern University, Sociedad Latina, Zili Misik, and more!
