Bring the entire family to the Museum of African American History for a vibrant, youth-focused celebration hosted by the Haus of Glitter!This special 'Kids Day' installment of the Dance for the Diaspora series invites families into an afternoon of joyful, community-centered cultural learning.
The 3-hour event is packed with engaging programming designed to introduce young minds to diverse traditions across Black, Indigenous, and global diasporas.
Participants will experience energetic movement workshops highlighting Afro-diasporic dance styles, listen to rich histories during dedicated cultural storytime sessions, and express their own creativity through interactive, hands-on arts and crafts activities.
It's a wonderful space for education, cultural practice, and wellness that uses performing arts to inspire social change and togetherness.
