Dance For The Diaspora (D4D Boston) is a citywide celebration of movement, music, cultural memory, wellness, and collective care featuring workshops, performances, community activations, conversations, DJs, and immersive artistic experiences across Boston and New England.Rooted in Black, Indigenous, diasporic, and LGBTQ+ cultural practices, D4D brings together artists, culture bearers, organizers, and community members to gather, move, learn, and imagine together.
Supported by NEFA’s Public Art for Spatial Justice initiative, D4D explores how public art and collective gathering can help create more just, connected, and community-centered public spaces.
Developed in partnership with Museum of African American History, Multicultural Arts Center, and The Haus of Glitter, the festival is part of an ongoing residency supporting the development of The Historical Fantasy of Boston.
Single Class Passes are available on a sliding scale from $5 to $25, or join us for the entire Saturday experience with a $30 Full Day Pass.
100% of registration proceeds support local artists, culture bearers, and the Museum of African American History’s vital work preserving Black history and stewarding community.
