The South Shore Natural Science Center, an environmental education center and museum in Norwell, announces the 40th annual Corn Festival, September 14-15, 2019.

Popular with families across the region, the Corn Festival is an annual event celebrating the fall harvest, and natural and cultural heritage of New England.

The festival will be held two days from 10am to 4pm on both days (rain or shine).

Features of the festival include a variety of corn-themed food and activities, including the Centerís famous corn chowder, corn on the cob, a corn pit and corn shucking contests.

Traditional Craft Demonstrators

Other activities include kidsí games and crafts, hayrides, pony rides, traditional crafts demonstrations, farm animals, wildlife presentations, nature walks, and a country bake table.

$7 Members/$10 Non-Member (2 & under free)

Admission price includes most activities, games and crafts.

About South Shore Natural Science Center The SSNSC, a South Shore YMCA organization, is a non-profit environmental education center serving the south shore and beyond.

We are located at 48 Jacobs Lane in Norwell, less than one mile from exit 13 off route 3.
