Our Space Our Place, Inc.(OSOP) is an after school and career exploration program for middle and high school youth who are blind. Two-thirds of people who are blind and want to work are unemployed. Our goal is to change this reality for future generations.

By offering a year-round program, we provide a place where being blind or low vision is not a student’s defining characteristic, and we allow students to explore and to develop important and valued aspects of their personality, talents, and skills. In so doing, we fulfill our mission of preparing students who are blind to be involved in activities in their local community, have the time to develop friendships, lead activities, gain self-confidence, and explore career and educational options.

Participants: Middle and High School-age youth who are blind or low vision
Our Space Our Place and Microsoft invite middle and high school students who are blind or visually impaired to participate in an exciting week-long computer learning experience. As technology becomes part of all aspects of our life, it is important that as individuals who are blind or visually impaired we know how to both use and create technology.

Meet coders, video game makers and other professionals in the tech sector and explore career options in high-tech!

Learn Today - Prepare for Your Future Lunch and snacks provided.
To participate you must be a proficient user of a screen reader and/or magnification tool.
