Step into a world of color, motion, and magical transformation at the library as we explore the lives of butterflies.

Led by Mass Audubon educator Kelly Walbert, this interactive nature session explores how these fluttering insects master disguise, sip sweet nectar, and complete their amazing life cycle.

Young nature enthusiasts will participate in an energetic butterfly migration game and try on fun dress-up gear to learn about special insect adaptations.

The session concludes with a hands-on crafting activity where children can create their own beautiful butterfly art projects to keep.

This educational community program is hosted by the Montague Public Libraries and is perfectly tailored for families and children between the ages of 5 and 12.

Free parking is available along the side of the library building, and the venue features a wheelchair-accessible ramp entrance off 7th Street.

Arrive a few minutes early to secure parking and settle in before the presentation starts. Since the program includes an active simulation game and a craft segment, children should wear comfortable clothes that allow easy movement and a bit of artsy mess.
