Color comes alive! Focus on animals, and create some playful, zany, colorful and expressive artworks. The week and its projects will celebrate the animal kingdom with four exciting activities each day, including drawing/painting, ceramics, sculpture/3D, and performing arts. Students will be divided into groups by grade. Please bring a lunch and 2 snacks (no nuts, please). Early drop-off and extended day available.

Ceramics|Mixed Media|Painting – NAC Faculty
Four days of creativity during the vacation break! Teens can express their talents, learn techniques and gain important communication and critical thinking skills. Each day, students will attend classes in mixed media and ceramics. Excellent for all levels, the Ceramics Studio is an introduction to wheel-throwing and handbuilding, with many opportunities for intermediate students to perfect their skills. Mixed media includes techniques such as drawing, painting, printmaking or collage. The curriculum is challenging and flexible, offering plenty of opportunity for self-expression, discovery and fun while working with other teens. Students will be divided into groups by grade.
All materials provided. (Students in grades 6-12 must bring lunch or parent/guardian must sign a “Permission to Leave” form to buy lunch outside the premises.)
