Bring the family to Blake Planetarium for 'Coyote's Guide to the Sky,' an engaging astronomy program that blends storytelling with science.The main feature, 'Earth, Moon and Sun,' follows a humorous coyote character inspired by Native American oral traditions as he tries to make sense of the universe.
His misconceptions lead to surprising discoveries about day and night, moon phases, solar fusion, eclipses, and lunar craters.
Following the fulldome show, the planetarium director will guide guests through the early summer night sky, teaching everyone how to find the constellation Scorpius and its bright red star, Antares.
