Pause during this busy season to appreciate the gift of the Crane Estate, a national treasure for all to enjoy. Tour the decorated rooms of the Great House with the family and rediscover the magical anticipation of Christmas Day. Music, decorations, cookies, and cider add to the holiday splendor.

Families are encouraged to attend; cookies and cider will be served. Please bring a gift of an unwrapped toy for a child in need.

From Route 128 north (towards Gloucester), take exit 20A (Route 1A north) and follow for 8 miles to Ipswich. Turn right onto Route 133 east and follow for 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Northgate Road and follow for .5 mi. Turn right onto Argilla Road and follow for 2.3 miles to entrance on left. Gatehouse attendant will direct you to parking area (20 cars) behind Farm Building Complex.

Breath Taking

I have been to this open house in the past years. It amazes me how beautiful the decorations are done through out the house. It reminds me of the victorian houses I have seen all dressed up during the winter season. Also I would like to suggest that in this event a professional photographer should be there for great picture taking. There are so many areas to choose from. The cider and treats are also a nice tradition. This was actually the first place where I had ever had hot cider. Keep up the excellent work. Please let me know of all events.
