The Grove at the Lawn on D celebrates fall with its first ever Octoberfest on Saturday, 10/10/2026, presented with Samuel Adams.The outdoor lawn in Boston's Seaport will be decked out with banners, pennants, Bavarian tablecloths, and inflatable steins, and the staff will be dressed in lederhosen for the occasion.
Admission is free, and the first 500 guests through the gate receive a free Samuel Adams Octoberfest stein.
Bring it over to the stein painting tent to have it personalized, or stop by the caricature artist next door.
Bongo Golf sets up a golf simulator on the lawn from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, and a guest MC hosts the day's festivities on the stage.
The local band Whiskey 6 plays live from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
Guests are encouraged to come dressed in lederhosen, dirndls, or other festive attire, with prizes for the best outfits, a costumed Samuel Adams roaming the lawn, and a photo wall by the stage.
Two rounds of Raise the Stein, a classic endurance contest, take place at 3:00pm and 5:00pm.
The lawn is open to all ages during the day, and the event runs rain or shine unless the weather becomes unsafe.

Free admission and open to all. Organizers ask guests to RSVP online. Cabanas for 2 to 28 guests can be reserved in advance for guaranteed shaded seating and table-side service. Food and drinks are available for purchase.

The Grove at the Lawn on D is at 420 D Street in Boston's Seaport, next to the convention center. Enter through The Grove's entrance on D Street. Take the Silver Line to World Trade Center, the closest stop. Metered parking is available on D Street, with garages nearby and a Blue Bikes station out front.
