Hear the sounds of the American Revolution as members of Concord Fife and Drum bring to life the fifes and drums that marched across New England's battlefields.

Performed under a tent at The Old Manse on Friday, July 3, this free performance celebrates the 250th anniversary of American independence with music from the Revolutionary War era, including pieces heard at the Battle of the North Bridge.

Music played a vital role during the Revolutionary War, keeping spirits up and helping direct soldiers on the battlefield.

This special presentation captures that historical tradition and sets the tone for Independence Day celebrations.

This program does not include admission to the historic house itself.

If you'd like to tour the Old Manse and learn about how this National Historic Landmark witnessed the American Revolution, house tours and admission are available separately.

As part of The Trustees' America's 250th programming, visitors can also explore other Revolutionary sites across Massachusetts, including 1776 at The Mission House in Stockbridge (July 17 and August 7 with historian Mark Wilson).

Download the America's 250th Passport and visit all 10 sites to enter for a chance to win a year of Trustees Family Membership.
