Join participants across the globe for the Purple Heart Day Virtual Race 2026, an inspiring community event dedicated to honoring the brave military members who were wounded or killed in service to the United States.This independent virtual race serves as a moving tribute to the extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and resilience represented by the Purple Heart Medal.
How it works:
- Select your distance challenge: Choose between 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon (13.1 miles), or a Full Marathon (26.2 miles).
- Run, walk, jog, or hike your distance at your own pace at any point during the month of August 2026.
- Earn a beautiful commemorative Purple Heart-inspired medal shipped directly to your door.
In addition to achieving your personal fitness goals, your participation directly gives back.
Fifteen percent (15%) of every single race registration is proudly donated to the Purple Heart Foundation to support critical veterans' programs, active service members, and military families.
