Who will win the final rose?The Gazebo Players of Medfield proudly return to the stage for their 24th annual Summer Shakespeare in the Park tour with a fresh, laugh-out-loud adaptation of 'The Taming of the Shrew.' Directed by Steve Small, this clever open-air production completely transforms Shakespeare’s wild battle-of-the-sexes comedy into a modern-day reality TV dating show.
While the setting has been updated to channel maximum onscreen drama, ratings spectacles, and playful competitive high-stakes, the Bard's original poetic language remains fully intact.
Starring Krishan Oberoi as the glamorous Petruchio and Kelly McGowan as the fiery Katherine, this energetic tour brings a beloved theatrical tradition to three local communities under the warm summer sky.

Performances take place at alternating park locations: July 18 & 19 at Bellforge Arts Center (45 Hospital Road, Medfield; rain location at United Church of Christ, 496 Main Street); July 25 & 26 at Paul Revere Heritage Site (Canton; rain location in The Barn on-site); August 1 & 2 at the Music Court in Bird Park (Walpole; rain location at Footlighters Playhouse, 2 Scout Road). Free local parking is available at each site.

- All tour stops are completely free, open to the public, and family-friendly! Because performance areas are casual, grassy park grounds, attendees are highly encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or picnic blankets for comfortable seating.
