Finagle's Tour is a missed opportunity
Went with my kids and 2 other families to Finagle-a-Bagel's 'self-guided tour' during Christmas break and was disappointed to find nothing more than an empty hallway with 2 windows that look into the facility. My young kids liked seeing the bagels coming out of the oven and going around the conveyer belt, but the real attraction was running up and down the empty hallway with their friends. When we wanted to sample a warm bagel (a reasonable request considering hundreds of bagels were coming out every hour), we had to track down an employee after knocking on office doors, who was nice enough to bring us a bag of bagels for each family - disappointingly, the bagels were not warm and the options were limited to plain bagels.
Finagle a Bagel had a good idea in creating a way for families to learn about the way bagels are made. Too bad they missed the opportunity to make the experience engaging, fun and yummy. RELATED LINKS | ↑ top |
