The Winchester Cooperative Theatre's spring performance of Disney's Little Mermaid is coming to McCall Middle School the weekend of March 24, 25 and 26!Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney's The Little Mermaid tells the adventures of a young mermaid, Ariel, who longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea and while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric.
Determined to be part of that world, she makes a deal with Ursula, the evil sea witch, who gives her a chance to experience life on land, but ultimately places her life and her father’s crown in jeopardy.
With the talented cast of 67 students, immerse yourself and your family in this heartwarming tale of Ariel and her friends.
This fishy fable will have you humming its memorable songs, including 'Kiss the Girl” and 'Under the Sea.''
Performed live at McCall Middle School located at 458 Main Street in Winchester Friday, March 24 at 7:30pm

About: The Winchester Cooperative Theatre for Children was founded in 1979 to provide elementary school children with the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive theatrical experience.
In 1990 the program expanded to include a middle school production.
We believe that children deserve professionalism in their exposure to theatre.
Our staff consists of accomplished dramatic coaches, musicians, choreographers, stage, costume, and lighting designers who support the children as they develop to their fullest potential.
Throughout their experience, the children are encouraged to reach a level of performance far beyond that which is typically expected of their age group.
We are dedicated to helping children feel good about themselves, gain poise, and reach their own personal level of excellence.
The Winchester Cooperative Theatre is a non-profit organization which is financially supported by tuitions, ticket revenues and donations to the Friends of the Cooperative Theatre.
