Head over to Caesar's Pizza and Subs, a no frills, neighborhood pizza joint just outside of Union Square. It's a neighborhood joint, nothing fancy, but they serve up some good Za.

The menu focuses on pizza, topped with red sauce, mozzarella and your choice of toppings. Choose from standard offerings like pepperoni, sausage, peppers, ham and the like.

The menu also features several Italian sandwiches, pasta dishes like eggplant Parmesan and salads. Prices are just as low as they ought to be -- a large cheese pizza is less than $10.

Their regular pizza is also great. big slices, fresh ingredients, new york style, and plain awesome. i eat it 2-3 times a week, and i live around the corner, so i shoud know.

Caesar's Pizza Subs

This place has great deep dish pizza. It's a big, thick square - all the way through. Some deep dish get thin in the middle but these pizza's don't. We've only had their deep dish so I can't comment on the other stuff - but the service is excellent. We went in one night for a take out order, and while we were waiting, we ordered something to drink. They were out of what we wanted so we ordered something else. They ended up not charging us for the drinks because they were out of what we originally wanted. Who does that? Always friendly and they seem to care about doing a good job.
