Cambridge Summer Shack
Seating 350 diners, this Summer Shack has become a favored place for all kinds of celebrations from kids’ birthday parties and sports victories, to corporate holiday parties.

Diners eat at communal picnic tables and savor everything from traditional clam rolls and New England boiled lobster to pan-roasted lobster. With a fun and casual atmosphere, this shack is like a big party every night.

Free Parking is available, and it is located directly across the way from the Alewife T-Stop.

Back Bay Summer Shack has become the place where rabid Red Sox fans and Boston Symphony patrons rub elbows. It’s within walking distance to both Fenway Park and Symphony Hall, and it’s only three blocks from the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Located at (50 Dalton Street in the Back Bay, across from the Sheraton Hotel entrance and the Hynes Auditorium. Upstairs from Kings Bowling Alley).

The raw bar case is a sight to behold, carrying 4,000 pieces of shellfish kept fresh in an ideal atmospheric condition. The Back Bay Shack is open for lunch and dinner, and you are welcome to enjoy Happy Hour and their late-night Bar Menu.

Long Food Wait

We arrived by 5:30 and did not get our food until 6:30. That's long for two toddlers to wait. Good food, but by the time it arrived we were ready to leave. Also, very limited menu for someone who does not eat dairy. All the batter fried (most of the kids menu) items have milk. My star rating is the experience we had, not the quality of the food. Which I would rate higher. Fried clams are yummy!
