Bartley’s Burger Cottage is nearly part of the Harvard curriculum, with fun wall signage to read while you wait, and modest patio furniture, both inside & out. If it's burgers you want - you can't really go wrong at Bartley's.

Their incredible hamburger selection is loaded with celebrity named creations piled onto toasted sesame buns. The 'Tiger Woods' stacks cheddar and guacamole, and the creepy 'Stephen King' is mysteriously delicious with Muenster cheese. Sweet potato fries and a fresh lime rickey add the best of the best to any selection.

With burgers, wraps, and sandwiches named after up-to-date people in the news, as much enjoyment is derived from reading the menu as eating the mouth-filling beef patties.

The restaurant is small and cramped, but that's part of its charm, really. They do have high chairs though, so they get the family friendly nod. Strollers are better kept outside.

World's Best Burger

Bartley's will satisfy your need for a fabulous burger and your nostalgia for college life at the same time. Nothing has changed there for years (thank goodness!) except for the next generation of Bartleys manning the grill. If it's pleasant, get your order to go and watch the world go by in Harvard Yard or on Brattle Street, where street musicians may be at work. CLOSED SUNDAYS.
