A classic Boston area restaurant & deli named for a great-grandmother who welcomed her customers in Yiddish: “Es and es” means 'Eat and eat.'
Although there is no kids menu, many items listed are suitable for kids such as the French fries, burgers, pizza, fresh fruit, and many others.
Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays, and there's nothing like a tower of pancakes or a plate-sized omelette to start the weekend off right. The blintzes are a favorite among many restaurant go-ers.
The staff, accustomed to serving families and managing crowds, is pleasant and knowledgeable. High chairs are available, and they also offer take-out.
