At Sew Trendy Studio we keep the classes small to guarantee personal attention. Students will learn to sew, gain knowledge in color, textiles, and construction techniques. Sewing enhances creativity, builds self-esteem, and encourages optimism. Sewing also develops patience, perseverance, problem solving, and eye/hand coordination.
Sewing allows students to express themselves while having Fun.
Sew Trendy Studio is owned and operated by Sewing Educator Shannon Malnicof. Malnicof has attended Fashion School of Design in Boston, and will continuing her education with Mass Art in Boston. She also has been in the field of teaching and training children and adults for over 15 years.

A wonderful supportive learning environment for my 12 yr old who took on a challenging project and felt accomplished with her final piece.

I started a sewing class with Sew Trendy about a year ago and have had a wonderful time. The evening was 'my evening' not only having fun learning to sew but socializing with great people. Shannon is fabulous. She has patience and me being one that did not know how to use a sewing machine, she was accommodating and kind. What a great way to pamper yourself for an evening.

Sewing has become a lost talent and Shannon has brought it back to life with a cotemporary flair to a great art. My 9 year old daughter can not only sew but Shannon has taught her to create and design everything from PJ pants to dresses. The tuition is more of an investment in a talent she will have forever. My daughter started taking sewing classes here for the first time this year. She has never sewed before but always expressed interest in it and I cannot say enough positive things about this studio. The teacher is very patience with the kids .She teaches them alot in such short time and is very accomodating when they miss a class.. My daughter just finished her first session and she is already teaching me things. Fantastic class and useful for the rest of her life.

My daughter has been attending sewing classes with Shannon since this past summer. Friends reccommended the class to us. My daughter loves it!! She has come home with the most amazing things --that she has made in class. Look out Project Runway!! Shannon's students are on their way!!

My daughters have been sewing with Shannon for two years. Shannon's approach is warm, friendly, encouraging and upbeat. The classes are structured, organized and themed. My girls love her and have developed some great sewing skills. This is one class they look forward to going to every week!
