Swordsmanship, Fencing & Martial Arts, West Roxbury/Roslindale/Dedham YMCA, Broad Meadow Brook Day CampHarbor Discoveries is an interactive marine and environmental science program that incorporates traditional camp activities. Nature serves as the outdoor classroom as you travel to sites exploring aquatic environments. Choose from one week (junior and senior levels) or two-week (advanced level) programs.
Programs include behind –the-scenes activities in New England Aquarium galleries, excursions to Boston Harbor Islands, daily field trips to north and south shore habitats, and an overnight camping trip. Programs run weekdays through July and August.
Participants:
Co-educational, entering grades 4th - 5th (Junior Level), 6th - 7th (Senior Level), 8th - 9th (Advanced Level)
Enrollment:
32 per session in the Junior and Senior levels; 10-20 per session in the Advanced level.

Daily Schedule:
Camp for participants in the Junior and Senior levels is a 5-day or week-long program. The overnight component takes place on Thursday nights. Daily camp drop-off is between 8:45a.m.and 9:00 a.m. each day, except for Friday mornings after the Thursday overnight.
Daily pick up is between 4:45p.m.and 5:00p.m, except for Fridays when pick up is at 1:00p.m.

Transportation
Junior and Senior level participants are bused to all field trip destinations. Advanced level participants travel in vans driven by Aquarium staff to all of their field trip destinations.
