From Charlestown to Mattapan, children ages three to ten can enjoy the Artists in Residence Craft Workshops. Painting, mask, jewelry, and treasure bottle making are just a few of the crafts the children will be introduced to. Sessions are hosted by local artists from 9 a.m. to 12 noon with all materials provided. Participating children must be accompanied by an adult. Groups of six or more must make prior arrangements with the artists.
Now in its 13th year, ParkARTS is made possible through leadership support from Bank of America.

The Boston Parks and Recreation Department’s ParkARTS program will once again be giving boys and girls ages three to ten the opportunity to let their imaginations run wild in local parks during a series of creative children’s learning workshops.
From East Boston to Mattapan, children ages three to ten can enjoy the Artists in Residence Craft Workshops. Typical activities including yarn painting and fairy house building along with treasure bottle, book, and jewelry making. All materials will be provided.
Sessions are hosted by local artists from 9:00am to 12:00noon. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Groups of six or more must make prior arrangements with the artists.
