'one world' summer enrichment program photoIt is time again for The Mary Baker Eddy Library’s sixth annual One World program, a series of free arts and cultural events for children ages 4 to 10.

Activities, which range from decorating journals and bookplates to creating stained-glass globes, are designed to connect children to the Library’s vast historical collections.

This program also offers live musical entertainment from around the world, free Mapparium tours, and a free age-appropriate book for each participant.

New for this year is the Library’s latest exhibit, Finding Peace, which focuses on the meaning and pursuit of peace and how we can create more peace in our world.

The Mary Baker Eddy Library is located at 200 Massachusetts Avenue, between Huntington Avenue and Boylston Street.
By Subway:
Take the Green Line to either the Prudential, Symphony, or Hynes “T” stops.

From Prudential:
Exit the station via the “Huntington Avenue” exit. Upon exiting the station you will see the Christian Science Plaza directly across Huntington, with the tall Church Administration building immediately in the foreground. Cross the street and proceed across the Plaza; the Library is next to The Mother Church on Massachusetts Avenue.

From Symphony:
Exit the station onto Massachusetts Avenue; the Library is on the same block as the station, just north of The Mother Church.

From Hynes:
Exit the station and turn left onto Massachusetts Avenue. The Library is four blocks down Massachusetts Avenue, on the corner of Clearway Street.

By Bus:
The Harvard-Dudley bus, No. 1 stops on Massachusetts Avenue and Clearway Street in front of the Library.

The CT1 bus stops at Horticultural/Symphony Hall on Massachusetts Avenue—you will pass the Library right before the stop; cross the street and the Library will be on the same block.

Driving from the North:
Take I-93 South to Exit 26 (Storrow Drive/North Station exit). Keep left, and after a short tunnel, you will merge onto Storrow Drive. After .2 of a mile, take a slight left onto Embankment Road (MA-28). Turn right onto Beacon Street. At the second light, turn left onto Clarendon Street. At the fifth light, turn right onto St. James Avenue. Stay on St. James Avenue to merge onto Huntington Avenue. Following Huntington Avenue for about .2 of a mile, you will see the Christian Science Plaza on your right. Turn right at the light at Massachusetts Avenue, and the Library will be on your right, immediately past the church.

Driving from the South:
Take I-93 North to Exit 16 (Southampton St. Exit) towards Andrew Square. Turn left onto Southampton Street. Stay straight to go onto Massachusetts Avenue. Follow Massachusetts Avenue for about one mile. When you cross Huntington Avenue, you will see Symphony Hall on your left and Horticultural Hall on your right. The Library will be on your right, immediately past the church.

Driving from the West:
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) East to the Prudential Center/Copley Square exit. Keep left at the fork in the ramp to “Prudential Center.” Merge onto Huntington Avenue. Following Huntington Avenue, you will see the Christian Science Plaza on your right. Turn right at the light at Massachusetts Avenue, and the Library will be on your right, immediately past the church.

Parking:
Limited $7 parking is available to visitors of the Library. Entrance to the underground lot is near the intersection of Huntington and Massachusetts Avenues, next to Horticultural Hall (Boston Magazine awning).
