Children dress up in period dress of the 1860's.

Children of all ages will be able to put on clothes similar to those worn during the Civil War era, and learn a little bit about history of Fort Warren.

Take your photos in the parade group and step back in history to 1860.
Designed Especially for kids!

Georges Island is a relaxing, 45-minute ferry ride from downtown Boston.

Catch the ferry at Long Wharf North, close to Faneuil Hall and Christopher Columbus Park.

Also accessible by MBTA boat from Hingham.

Take the park ferry from Long Wharf to get to this program. Check the ferry schedule to plan your trip. Regular ferry fees apply.

During the spring and fall, ferries run on an abbreviated schedule and depart from Long Wharf-North, Boston. We suggest arriving at the dock at least 30 minutes prior to departure to allow time for ticketing and boarding. More info on- www.bostonharborislands.com
