Writers will respond to Concord’s and The Old Manse’s rich literary, political, and social history.
Or, they may respond to the multitude of issues left out of the official narratives, perhaps imagining futures where the promise of 1776, the 1860s and 1960s are fulfilled.
This is the second of four core events, called ‘lyceums’ in the spirit of 19th century gatherings, that The Trustees’ have planned to engage the public in the The Meeting House installation on view at the Old Manse through October.
The event is free, open to the public, and suitable for all ages.
