This fall, under the light of the autumn moon, the gates will open, and guests will have the opportunity to discover a secret corner of Franklin Park Zoo that is home to a mysterious, mystical world.

The Midnight Zoo is a brand new Halloween experience that surrounds visitors with never-before-seen creatures from the farthest realms of the imagination.

Wind your way through the darkness as the woods around you come alive in this 360-degree immersive experience.

Elaborate costumes, masterful design, and moonlit surprises await you in this wild, haunted habitat featuring over 20 fantastical creatures ranging in size from tiny to over 8 feet tall.

These amazing creatures are unique to this event and cannot be found anywhere else!

The Midnight Zoo is a live and interactive experience, leading guests on a journey along a mysterious moonlit trail.

This event is recommended for ages six and up.

Bring the family for a night of spooky fun and experience the Zoo as you never have before!

The Midnight Zoo is presented in partnership with Puppet Showplace Theater.

Please note: this event takes place after regular Zoo hours.

With the exception of the Midnight Zoo trail, other exhibits and attractions will not be open.
