Prizes will be awarded to the winning photograph in each category and each age group within that category. One photo will be selected as “Best in Show.” That winner will receive a Trustees annual membership and a winter share of produce at Powisset Farm.

Winning photos will be displayed on The Trustees’ website www.thetrustees.org beginning September 14, 2007 and at the Dover Public Library from September 14th through September 29th, 2007. Other locations may also be announced on our website.

Whether you are hiking a favorite trail, volunteering with your family at Powisset Farm’s new Community Supported Agriculture Program, canoeing on the Charles, or exploring a Trustees property you have never seen before, you are welcome to join in the fun. It’s as simple as submitting a digital photo on disk or a 4x6, 35 mm photograph to The Trustees of Reservations, 37 Powisset St., Dover, MA 02030.* For more details, please ask any Trustees ranger at a nearby reservation, or visit The Trustees’ website at www.thetrustees.org to learn more.

*No fees are required. Digital photographs must be a minimum size of 1024 x 768 pixels in jpeg or tiff format. Entrants who would like photographs returned can include a stamped, self-addressed envelope. Submission of negatives will be required for winning 35mm photographs. About The Trustees of Reservations
Founded in 1891, The Trustees of Reservations is the nation's oldest regional land conservation trust and nonprofit conservation organization. Supported by more than 40,500 members, The Trustees protect Massachusetts' natural and historic resources for everyone to enjoy. From working farms to historic homesteads, barrier beaches and mountain vistas, The Trustees own and manage nearly 25,000 acres on 96 reservations in 70 communities across Massachusetts, including five National Historic Landmarks, a National Natural Landmark, and seven properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Trustees also hold perpetual conservation restrictions on over 16,000 acres—more than any other conservation organization in Massachusetts—permanently protecting scenic and natural areas from development, and have assisted in the protection of over 16,000 additional acres.
