From the Brighton Police Station to Oak Square YMCA, participating Brighton businesses will display a sign 'Welcome Trick or Treaters!' Families with children are welcome to join the fun for a safe and fun filled Trick or Treating route. Pizza party following at the Oak Square YMCA @ 5:00pm.
District 14 Boston Police patrol officers and student volunteers from Boston College will once again be on-hand to ensure the safety of the youngsters while crossing the street. District 14 Police Captain Jim Hussey suggests to parents and guardians the best way to ensure the safety of their children is to accompany them while trick-or-treating.
The Halloween route begins at the District 14 Police Station on Washington Street and continues down into Oak Square ending with a Halloween pizza party at the Oak Square YMCA, at 615 Washington St., at 5 p.m.
This event, which is co-sponsored by Brighton Main Streets and the Brighton Board of Trade, is celebrating its 15th year of trick-or-treating.
