This camp is for people who want to play rock music, who want to perform rock music, who want to learn what it's like to be a rock musician. At camp.groove you're going to write music, you're going to rehearse it, and then you're going to play it in concert. Each student will be paired with a band and an instructor that you will work with for the duration of the camp. Our goal is to give you a realistic experience of how it is to prepare for a rock concert.

Each day, in addition to a morning and afternoon rehearsals, students will participate in clinics and workshops by 5 different guest artists. This is your chance to check out other types of music like R&B, hip-hop, Middle Eastern, Latin, and more. Classes will also be offered during the day such as: music production, survey of rock music, music theory, and others.

AFTER classes are finished, students will participate in daily recreational activities. Yes, we want you to exercise too. Bands will compete in various activities including soccer, basketball, softball, etc. After dinner, we encourage all students to attend evening concerts. This is the part of the day where we take you to a live concert venue, get tickets for the concert, and meet the band afterwards. Why? What better way to get inspired, than by seeing people do the thing we love to do! Rock out on stage.
