Introducing a new, fun, healthy summer camp program offered by a new company called Great Moves! Each weeklong session teaches kids healthy lifestyle skills through fun physical activities, such as the Sports Wall and Xerdance, and cooking classes. This is such a great opportunity for all children because they can be active no matter what the weather is like, even if it's too hot or rainy to be outside. And everyone can benefit from healthier eating habits!

There are five weeks of camp sessions, beginning on July 7, 14, and 28, and on August 4 and 11. The program runs from 9:30 a.m. until noon at Great Moves! Newton center at 188 Needham Street.

Great Moves! is a new facility in Newton that offers a multi-disciplinary approach to weight management for children, teens, and families. The program is offered in collaboration with physicians from Children's Hospital Boston, and encompasses physical activity, nutrition, and behavioral support. The focus is to help children and their families develop healthy lifestyle habits that can be sustained over the long term.
