Children will spend the mornign seeing, hearing, touching and exploring the farm. They will get to know our farm animals, go on nature walks and weekly hayrides. Included in the program are singing, story-telling and craft-making as the children expand their imaginations and appreciation of the world around them.

Each week is based on a specific theme, such as “Simply Strawberries,” “Bugs and Butterflies,” “Fun with Nature.” The children will be treated daily to a snack of our famous cider donuts and apple juice. For an extra fee of $5 the children are welcome to bring their lunch and spend an additional supervised 1/2 hour on the farm.

Take Route 93 N to Exit 41 (Andover – North Andover, Route 125). Turn right at end of ramp. Follow Rt. 125 approximately 7 miles and turn left at traffic light at intersection with Route 114 (Royal Crest Apartments is directly across the way). You will drive past Merrimack College, which will be on your left. At next traffic light, turn right, continuing on Rt. 125. Go straight and turn right at traffic light after the 99 Restaurant (Mass Ave.). Go through North Andover’s Old Center and bear left at the fire station. Follow approximately one mile to a blinking yellow light and turn left. Follow for 2 miles and the farm will be on your left. (Look for the SMOLAK FARMS signs.)

  • Smolak Farms also offers plenty to do for children of all ages. Pick your own fruit, playground, birthday parties and so much more. Home of the delicious cider donuts!
