Boston Ballet brings its holiday classic The Nutcracker to Boston Children’s Museum for an entire day of activities including story readings by notable Boston personalities, interactive dance and music lessons, brief excerpt performances, arts and crafts, plus the chance to have a photo taken with characters from the production.Tickets for KidStage shows are limited and will be available on a first-come/first-serve basis. Tickets will be released one hour prior to show times. The presentation is not a performance of the Nutcracker, but a reading of the story and a demonstration by Boston Ballet student dancers. This show is recommended for visitors ages 4+. Lines may be long, and not everyone who waits will get a ticket - please consider all activities throughout the museum and plan for fun!

Absolutely wonderful, Thu 11 Nov 2010
Thanks Boston Central for the heads up on this event. It was absolutely wonderful. My girls and I had a blast. My favorite part was watching them take part in a ballet class taught by a Boston Ballet teacher. Everyone from Boston Ballet were so kind, engaging and friendly. It truly made our day extra special!
