Overall my 20 mo. old and I enjoyed it. We love animals so there was plenty for us to do. There were lots of vendors showing kids what happens to wool after it comes off the sheep. I was disappointed that there was only 1 very small area to watch the sheep being sheared(it was so crowded that we couldn't even get near enough to see) and there didn't seem to be any volunteers/employees standing around that area to answer questions. There were signs saying that there would be sheep herding demonstrations but no arrows telling you where that would be (same goes for the signs on the roads trying to get there...arrows would have helped me). It just seemed like they could have done a bit more to direct and engage visitors.

My husband, infant daughter (20mths) and I went to Drumlin Farm due to the fact that my daughter loves sheep! We found the place quite easily and though there was a queue to get into the car parked, the attendants were great and found us a space quickly. We paid $20 and went int. It is a large spread out area and perfect for little ones to run and play. As we arrived about 12:30 we were looking forward to getting something to eat, and there was the issue. when we went to the only food area, they were sold out! All they had were cookies and juice. not really lunch for a 20mth old! We held on long enough to see the sheepdog herding and then had to leave to get food. What we saw was great, and the stalls were lovely, just a real shame about the food. They assured us this had never happened in previous years. Whilst it wouldn't put us off going again, I think we'll take a picnic next year.
