Native people celebrate many thanksgivings throughout the year to show appreciation to the Earth and the Creator.
Today, visitors will engage with Wampanoag staff, as well as many Native community members, as they reenact this daylong celebration of thanks with 17th-century football games, mishoon (canoe) races, feasting and Eastern social songs and dances. Free with admission.
