Thousands of people will converge on Hancock Street in downtown Quincy to enjoy the Annual Quincy August Moon Festival on Sunday, August 16 from 11am to 5pm at Quincy Center, along Hancock Street. The festival will open at 11AM with a Lion Dance ceremony. The festival is a community event filled with vendors, food trucks, games, and activities for children, and performances throughout the day.
Bring your family and friends to enjoy a day of cultural activities, delicious food, live entertainment, and exhibits from more than 100 local businesses and organizations.
The festival is a free event presented by Quincy Asian Resources, Inc. (QARI), and will take place from approximately 1400 to 1600 Hancock Street, a short walk from the Quincy Center MBTA station and close to free public parking.
The Quincy August Moon Festival is a family event offering entertainment for all ages. There will be performances of traditional and modern Asian music and dance as well as a children’s area with games and crafts.
Local restaurants will also serve various types of Asian and American cuisine. More than one hundred local businesses, government and social service agencies and individuals will be participating in the August Moon Festival, so come join us for a day of fun!
