One of the oldest on-going celebrations of the fall season, Newton’s annual Harvest Fair, takes place Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16 from 11 – 5 PM on the Newton Centre Green. Kiddie amusement rides both Saturday and Sunday.
Scarecrow decorating contest Saturday only- $5 per scarecrow. Sunday only: more than 100 splendid international and hand-made crafts; delicious ethnic and American foods; free pumpkin decorating (courtesy of Trader Joe's); Circle of Caring at Hospice of the Good Shepherd's 'Big Feat' Memorial Walk.
Sunday features the Green Solutions Expo, with 60 'green' exhibitors and displays; live entertainment all day.
