We will clear and surface an ice skating rink on Burges Pond, host an ice fishing demonstration on the pond, and, with the help of RJ Bradley's Ski and Sport Shop, a demonstration of cross country skiing and other winter sports equipment.
The popular haywagon will bring you up from the parking area to the Recreation Hall, where there will be a roaring fire in the fireplace, along with live music, hot drinks, cookies, and marshmallows. Bring your own ice skates, cross-country skis, and/or snowshoes. For the young or young-at-heart, we'll have a snow sculpture contest, and there will be guided nature walks.
Park at the Depot St entrance and you can hop on a hay ride to the camps. Bring sled, skis, skates. Sponsored by The Friends of East Boston Camps. More Info and RSVP at www.WestfordFriendsEBC.org.
