Children should come in costume and adults are also encouraged to dress up as well! Show up at Prescott School parking lot for 2:45, where there will be some entertainment.
The parade will start promptly at 3pm. It will be led by a famous hairy friend we all know and love! ... and some of his buddies! The parade will travel down Main Street and turn left onto Broadmeadow Street, and then left onto the Town Field. It is not a very long route for little feet to walk, so no worries! Carriages, wagons and wheelchairs are welcome, and encouraged!
At the Town Field, the children will enjoy a DJ dance party with a dance contest, games with prizes, snacks and refreshments, face painting, and other surprises. You won't want to miss this and don't forget your camera as there will be some wonderful photo opportunities.
Nothing scary for the wee little ones. Perfect for children up to 4th or 5th grade, but all are welcome. This is a community event and Groton hopes to see you there! :)

Children should gather on Main Street at the Prescott School parking lot at 2:45. (this is right next door to Moison Ace Hardware) Main Street in Groton is the center of town. It is 15 min from Rt 3, and 10 min from 495.
