Boys & Girls Club of Manchester Hosts 3rd Annual 'Day for Kids' Presented by Panera Bread Saturday, September 13 in Manchester New Hampshire

Calling all kids! The Boys & Girls Club of Manchester invites local families to join in the 3rd annual Day for Kids, Saturday, September 13th, from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Manchester, NH.

Day for Kids, presented by Panera Bread, is a fun, interactive event with FREE admission, for children and adults of all ages to enjoy. The event is designed to foster stronger relationships between adults and children through the gift of spending meaningful time together.

With over 100 different interactive activities, exhibits, special displays, and fun things to see and do, this is a great way for parents and kids to enjoy a day together and create special memories. Customers of all Panera Bread’s 8 New Hampshire cafes can join the cause as well. Starting August 1, every dollar donated by customers in Panera’s Operation Doughnationâ in store canisters will go towards supporting the Day for Kids and New Hampshire Boys & Girls Clubs. Panera will then match the donation dollar for dollar.

Wildlife Encounters showcases one of a kind displays of several exotic animals
Color in the giant Bellwether Community Credit Union’s Coloring Book Wall- over 15ft. long!

Prizes for everyone at Wal-Mart’s Kids Big Top Arcade and Best Buy of Manchester’s Prize Machine. Free balloon animals, pony rides, face painting, and more creative fun at the Currier Museum of Art’s Arts & Crafts Display

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT
Variety of amazing and delightful acts for all ages on the Comcast Main Stage
10:30 a.m: Lil’ Iguana's Live Musical Stage Show focusing on child safety featuring Lil' Iguana, a loveable, fun costume character
11:30 a.m.: Get spellbound by the colorful visual magic of Magician Steve Thomas
12:30pm and 1:30pm: The Granite State Cloggers followed by the spectacular Ameri-Kids Baton & Dance Champions
2:30pm: Mad Science Fire & Ice Show featuring educational and entertaining hands-on science experiences for children Day For Kids 'Puppet Show Theatre', with live performances throughout the day

SPORTS AND FITNESS
Meet mascots and club members of New Hampshire sports teams, including the Manchester Monarchs, Manchester Millrats, and Manchester Wolves Take aim at the NH Fisher Cats Speed Pitch Display The Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth’s interactive exhibit delivers lots of fun while providing tips and information on kids’ health and fitness issues Team Chiropractic will offer kids a free, two-minute spinal and posture checkup.

Children can also visit with the tooth fairy and get a free oral health screen at the Northeast Delta Dental booth Kids Go Green by Oakhurst teaches children how they can help the environment Admission to the event for children and parents is free.
