The Concord Museum is open FREE to all on Saturday, September 20,thanks to the generosity of the Middlesex Savings Bank.
Visitors of all ages can take part in activities on the Concord Museum lawn such as face painting, music and games.
From 12:00 – 4:00 pm, the Battle Road Brewing Company, founded in 2012, will talk about their finely-crafted beers and their interest in promoting the history of the Battle Road.
They will pour their 1775 Tavern Ale and other offerings.
At 2:00 pm join Concord Museum Curator, David Wood and Joel Bohy for the final gallery talk in The Shot Heard Round the World: April 19, 1775.
FREE FOR ALL - FAMILY FUN!
As part of the Concord Museum Battle Road Open House, the Minute Men National Historical Park will open some of the restored colonial “witness” houses to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the park.
Take advantage of a rare opportunity to visit Hartwell Tavern, Captain William Smith House, Barrett Farm, and more – many open on this day only.

The town of Concord is approximately 20 miles west of Boston. The Concord Museum is easily accessible from Route 495 or Route 128/I95, via Route 2, and is located 1/4 mile east of Concord Center, at the intersection of Lexington Road and Cambridge Turnpike; entrance is on Cambridge Turnpike; parking is free.
