The Genki Spark & Brookline High School Japanese Program present the Brookline Cherry Blossom Festival! Join us in dance, taiko, crafts, games and eating wonderful Japanese food.

Tentative Schedule*
(Blankets and Lawn Chairs welcome)

12:00 PM- Festival Opening, The Genki Spark (taiko, Boston, MA)

12:30 PM- Odaiko New England (taiko, Woburn, MA)

1:00 PM- Mountain River Taiko (taiko, Western, MA)

1:30 PM- Takahashi Minyo Kai, (dance, Newburyport, MA)

2:00PM- Bon Odori (festival dancing, everyone dance Tankou Bushi and Sakura Ondo)

2:30PM- ShinDaiko (taiko, Concord, MA)

3:00PM- The Genki Spark (taiko, Boston, MA)

3:30 Finale including all artists

Games/Crafts: button making, kite making, goldfish fishing, yo-yo balloons, make your own hachimaki, write your name in katakana, kendama, ring toss, painting, Doraemon masks, chopstick competitions, yukata dress-up, face-painting, cherry blossom painting, and more!
